GRUPO STAMPEDE Grupo Stampede is a six-piece outfit that is primed to make a push for the top of the Tejano market. With an energy level that compares to a "Stampede," the band's live performances display its versatility by mixing covers with its cumbia and ranchera originals. The band has developed a following in Texas, Michigan, Illinois and New Mexico. Fronted by lead vocalist Elias Arredondo, the band moves through an array of different styles of music and is always striving to please the crowd. The drive and will displayed by these five young men shows in every move that is made. Whether it be on stage or on paper, Stampede strives for a professional attitude, but also has fun at the same time. Formed in 1996 in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex, Stampede is known for its innovative, urban-Tejano sound that respects tradition.
DA KRAZY PIMPZ On February 3, 2007 a new fusion of Tejano, Conjunto, and Cumbia Music emerged as the now well known band “Da Krazy Pimpz” was born. Founders Eddie Jimenez and Eloy Cortines began the project by combining their ideas, talents, and voices to form something newer, crazier, but yet giving their fans great danceable music to enjoy. The opportunity came to be when Tejano Superstar Singer “Gary Hobbs” from the same town of Eagle Pass, TX. signed Eddie and Eloy to his own independent record label “AMMX Records” to a 4 year contract. Gary along with his son Gary Lee Hobbs have both guided and produced “Da Krazy Pimpz” with their knowledge and years of experience in “la onda tejana”. Their first album “El Pachuco Nuevo” presented the audience with their colorful Pimp Suits which was never before seen in the Tejano Industry. The single “Cumbia De Los Pimpz” which was written by Eddie himself went on to open the doors for “Da Krazy Pimpz” to Mexico and several Tejano driven States in the U.S. The song picked up airplay from Tejano and Regional/Mexican radio stations everywhere and top stations like KXTN Tejano 107.5 in San Antonio, TX. And Que Pasa 99.5 in McAllen, TX. To Top off a great year in 2008, “Da Krazy Pimpz” were then invited to perform the hit song “Cumbia De Los Pimpz”at the 2008 Tejano Music Awards by President Frank Salazar, sporting their Zebra Pimp Suits the band performed along with their friends from Eagle Pass, “The Latin Dancers” for a performance to remember. The guys then received a call from a long time friend and promoter in Monterrey N.L. MX. Mr. Lino Noe Yañez from “Tejano Music Productions” and took them on his wing on several tours to San Luis Potosi, and Monterrey, pushing their music deep into the heart of his Mexican Country with songs like “Demasiado Romantica”, and “Por Tu Amor” Featuring Gary Hobbs from their second album entitled “Pimpin It!!” Throughout 2008 and 2009 the band toured the states of Texas, Florida, California, Arizona, Washington, Idaho, Kansas, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan, receiving numerous nominations to well known Award Shows such as the “Tejano Music Awards” and “Premios A La Musica Latina”. Their new album entitled “Los Reyes Del Conjunto” which is the 4th under AMMX Records, is set to be released in the fall of 2010 with the band more matured and experienced, this album is set to be one of their best albums released yet. This album contains 2 crossover (villera cumbias) entitled “Pamela”, and “Una Copa Mas” which will definatly have a different twist to their original style. Along with the great conjunto songs, this album will be one to remember. Da Krazy Pimpz have cemented their “controversial” name as one of the top conjunto bands in the industry today in 2010. They have gained the hearts of many fans throughout the world with the power world wide web spreading their music using the great internet tools of today such as myspace and facebook. Da Krazy Pimpz thank all the fans for the continued support throught the years and to everyone who makes this project possible.. Puro Pimpin Style, Pimpin Conjunto!!
